| Directions | From Southampton Leave town on The Avenue. At the roundabout at the end of the road, turn right into Bassett Green Road. Stay on this road for about 2 miles. You will pass the Stoneham Arms pub on your left. At the cross roads (traffic lights), turn left into Stoneham Lane. Immediately after going underneath the motorway bridge, turn left (signposted) to Trojans Club. Parking and the clubhouse are 500 metres up the lane on the right. From the West or Portsmouth Follow the M27, exit at Junction 5 and turn south towards Southampton along the A335 (Stoneham Way). After about half a mile, turn right at lights into Bassett Green Road (there is a filter off the dual carriageway). Continue up to next set of traffic lights and turn right into Stoneham Lane. Immediately after going underneath the motorway bridge, turn left (signposted) to Trojans Club. Parking and the clubhouse are 500 metres up the lane on the right. From London Follow the M3 until Junction 13 where you follow signposts to Southampton and M27 EAST. In 1 Mile (Junction 14) follow signposts to Southampton (A33) leaving the motorway. At the roundabout, bear left into Bassett Green Road (A27 signposted Swaythling and Airport). Stay on this road for about 2 miles. You will pass the Stoneham Arms pub on your left. At the cross roads (traffic lights), turn left into Stoneham Lane. Immediately after going underneath the motorway bridge, turn left (signposted) to Trojans Club. Parking and the clubhouse are 500 metres up the lane on the right. By Bus Bluestar Line 2, Southampton, Portswood, Swaythling, North Stoneham, Eastleigh, Bishopstoke and Fair Oak The stop for Trojans is "Stoneham lane" and is just before or after the motorway bridge depending on which way you are coming from. Just ask the Bus driver and they should be able to help. Once off the bus the lane leading up to Trojans is sign posted. | |
